Reflexology decreases insomnia and depression in menopausal women

The effects of different physiotherapy strategies on insomnia and depression in perimenopausal, menopausal, and post-menopausal women was reviewed in BMC Women’s Health (2023).


Looking at results from 31 studies, the investigators said reflexology appears to have a “significant impact on decreasing insomnia and depression in menopausal women” along with yoga, walking and aromatherapy massage.
